In August of 2019 Deputy Coroner Harlow Mae joined the staff of the coroner's office. Harlow is a 3 year old Golden Retriever owned by Coroner Northrup who is professionally trained as a therapy/comfort dog. Harlow comes to work 4-5 days a week with Coroner Northrup to provide hugs and comfort to grieving family members when needed. Harlow also provides comfort to coroner staff on stressful days.
